On December 7th from 9 AM to 4 PM, don't miss our Christmas Fair! This beloved annual event, deeply rooted in Quaker tradition, features a stunning selection of Christmas crafts created by our local artisans. Perfect for adding a festive touch to your home, you'll also enjoy traditional Christmas foods like tamales for breakfast and lunch. Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with activities designed to bring joy and unity to our community. This event supports our local school community and offers an excellent opportunity to experience the creativity and hospitality of Monteverde.

3. "Wassail" Christmas Program

Another cherished tradition is the Wassail in the Christmas Program, an event where the community shares songs and Christmas stories during the Christmas program, expressing through arts very emotional and funny moments. Participants also bring 12 cookies made from their own recipe to share. Alongside the cookies, you'll also enjoy a special drink called Wassail, a spiced cider brought by the Quakers. This event runs parallel to the Christmas program and culminates in a celebration with Wassail. It's a perfect occasion to meet new friends, exchange favorite recipes, and enjoy the festive season.

4. El Día de la Paz

Held on the first Sunday of December, the Day of Peace is a special meeting organized by the Quaker community of Monteverde. This event focuses on reflections about peace, justice, and community. It’s a day filled with testimonies, prayers, and moments of contemplation, reinforcing the Quakers' commitment to these core values. It’s a beautiful occasion to experience the spiritual and community-oriented aspects of Monteverde life.
