I Love Monteverde: Where Community and Real Estate Flourish Together

When starting this new chapter of my life in real estate, I wanted to identify the business name with my priorities, interests, and goals. Thus, I Love Monteverde, Community + Real Estate was born at the beginning of 2022. Putting “community” first is very important to me, and it was deliberate when thinking about how to market this work. I make it clear to my clients that our mission is to find matches for those who want to sell their properties to those interested in truly contributing to this community. I am only interested in working with investors who will participate in our community or partner with any number of organizations that operate here. 

I am happy and proud that the I Love Monteverde team has grown in less than two years! And we want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to our existing and future neighbors. 

Kelly Lange has just celebrated 20 years of living in Costa Rica! Originally from Kansas City, she has been visiting Costa Rica since she was a teenager when her father moved to San Carlos, growing oranges and eventually expanding his family. After ten years in Santa Teresa, Kelly chose the higher altitude of Monteverde to call home - the cooler climate and amazing forests welcoming her with a warm embrace. She quickly fell in love with the community and set down roots. Her family has included several adopted cats and dogs over the years, and now also her partner, an incredible artist from the nearby community of Guacimal. She is passionate about this community, the conservation work done by many organizations here, and, of course, the perfect spring-like year-round temperatures!

Carmen joined the team in June 2023 as our virtual assistant, and she has proved to be so much more! We rely on her to organize all of the information on each property and client and to keep our business moving forward. With four years of experience in real estate, she focuses on helping real estate agents thrive. Hailing from Nicaragua, she has lived in Costa Rica for around a year and a half. Carmen is passionate about real estate because she can assist others in making one of the most important decisions in their lives: buying their house! In her free time, she loves engaging in high-level running. We hope she decides to join us in this lovely mountain community!

Saadatu Gray, or Susu, is the newest member of our team, and we are sure she will be running everything by the end of the year. She is full of initiative and knows how to handle multiple tasks at any given moment. Originally from Rochester, NY, she has lived in Costa Rica and Monteverde for over 15 years. Her partner is also from the neighboring town of Guacimal, and they are raising two amazing daughters who already show signs of having their mom´s confidence and courage to try anything new. Susu decided to work in real estate because she’s passionate about helping and connecting people.  She loves all kinds of dance and is passionate about traveling.
